In 2021, Ellard Associates were commissioned to assist in the redevelopment of a closed landfill that had been used for many years for the disposal of foundry sand. This commision is on-going.

In late 2019, Ellard Associates were engaged by the operator of a local/sub-regional quarrying and secondary aggregate business to assist with providing a sensible restoration to their quarry void. It is presently envisaged that this will involve backfilling with appropriate materials in order to provide a platform for built development in the longer-term. This commission is on-going.

In 2018 Ellard Associates was commissioned to provide technical support to GRS Earth Solutions, a part of the GRS Group. This company specialises in soil and C&D waste reprocessing and disposal. As part of this commission, Ellard Associates undertook a due diligence exercise in respect of several recycling and landfill assets held by a UK major company. Ultimately, this commission turned into a offer of full-time employment which came to and end in November 2019. Ellard Associates are retained to provide technical support services through to 2020.

In 2016, Ellard Associates were appointed to act as a Non-Executive Director to the Lampton Group of companies. Lampton 360 is a LATCo and is 100% owned by the London Borough of Hounslow. Howard Ellard was specifically responsible for the Recycle360 part of the Lampton group which provides waste collection and recycling activities for the parent authority. This appointment ceased after a three year period in 2019.
